La sonda china Chang’e-4 logró un hito histórico este jueves después de alunizar en la llamada cara oculta de la Luna.
Los Estados Unidos y la Ex Unión Soviética han enviado sondas a la cara visible, pero China se a comprometido en llevar a la cara oculta de la luna esta Sonda Chang´e 4.
El alunizaje ha “abierto un nuevo capítulo en la exploración humana de la Luna”, señaló la Administración Espacial Nacional China agregando que se completó a las 2:26 UTC de este 3 de enero.
“La cara oculta de la Luna es un lugar extrañamente tranquilo, libre de la interferencia de las señales de radio de la Tierra”, declaró el vocero de la misión, Yu Guobin, según la agencia oficial de noticias Xinhua.
“Esta sonda puede llenar el vacío de la observación radioastronómica de baja frecuencia y proporcionará información importante para estudiar el origen de las estrellas y la evolución de las nebulosas”, agregó el vocero de la misión.
