Estudios realizados sobre el comportamiento humano, ha llegado a conclusiones inesperadas frente al caso del desorden personal, y se comprobó que vivir en la desorganización continua y en muchos campos de la vida cotidiana, afecta el bienestar de la persona, produciendo estrés y depresión. De manera lenta pero inexorable, el estrés puede provocar un amplio abanico de dolencias físicas y psíquicas, desde dolores musculares, cansancio, problemas gastrointestinales, cardiacos, dermatológicos, sexuales y mentales.
Otro factor son los estímulos externos, como el frío, el calor o el ruido constituyen una fuente importante de estrés. Y, por supuesto, también la desorganización. El desorden obstaculiza el equilibrio emocional y psicológico, y es un desencadenante de otras situaciones que también generan estrés.
El desorden, por sí mismo provoca cansancio y te quita energía, ya que en el aspecto sicológico el cerebro permanece en un estado de incertidumbre, esto por el hecho de saber que tiene que hacerse algo, pero no se hace y termina el día con un cansancio adicional, por eso es recomendable mantener el hogar limpio y ordenado para que todo fluya.
El desorden también te roba el tiempo, porque cuando necesitas algo, no lo puedes encontrar ya que no sabes dónde lo pusiste, por consiguiente, te quitará tiempo y energía; además, hará que emplees más recursos en tareas que podrían estar fácilmente bajo control con un sistema organizado, También, te puede provocar un sentimiento de culpa creciente, que a la larga puede causar un daño emocional.
Una persona desordenada retrasa tareas y también obstaculiza un buen funcionamiento del trabajo, o el hogar, y tiene muy pocas posibilidades de llegar al éxito profesional sobresaliente.
